Rose from OITA

Rose (Rosa sp.)

Roses are mainly deciduous, with thorny stems and a compound leaf consisting of up to 9 leaves. Roses bloom aromatic flowers in summer and bear fruits in autumn. The aroma ingredients obtained from the flower are famous for being very expensive. The reason it is so expensive is because the flowers are picked by hand, it is weather sensitive, and about 1400 flowers must be picked to obtain 1g of aroma ingredients. Many varieties of roses exists, and among them, the “Yves Piaget” species has a strong, sweet, and glamorous, Damask rose-type scent.
